The History of Friends of Sturt

The Friends of Sturt was established in 1991 as part of Sturt’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. Since then, the Friends have supported Sturt’s activities through fundraising initiatives, educational programs, social events and volunteer involvement.

The new Sturt Gallery and Studios Limited Board acknowledges and greatly values the time, commitment and generosity shown by the Friends of Sturt community over many years.

Sturt Gallery and Studios Limited is pleased to relaunch Friends of Sturt as a recognised supporter community, formally ratified within the organisation’s constitution.
